Valley of the Dead (2020) Movie Review

The Plot is the typical “Military against Zombie” that has been used in a number of other Movies or Series before already, but the fact that it is a Spanish Production brings something a little bit different into it that makes it entertaining enough to watch. 

The Movie is set during the Spanish Civil War in the late 1930’s just before World War Two (WW2) between the Fascist Nationalists who sided with the Nazi Germans and the Republicans who sided with the Communist Russians.

So the Rat-faced Secretary of State of the United States (US) Anthony Blinken is set to meet with President Bong Bong Marcos (PBBM) this Week in Manila, Philippines. 

Note that ever since Blinken sat into Power under the Biden Administration in 2020, he never sought to meet personally with former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (PRRD) even once. And now PBBM is only a Month into his Term and Blinken is already coming over and eager to suck up to him.

The Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian recently said that China is ready to restart Joint Oil Exploration Talks with the Philippines at any time. Mr. Xilian has done a fantastic Job in terms of Public Relations (PR) in the Philippines, no doubt he is the best Person for the Job for China. 

However, I am Pessimistic that any new Joint Exploration Talks will go anywhere as these were already done under the Administration of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (PRRD), and they never went anywhere, prompting Digong to finally formally cut it just before he stepped out of Office after three Years of formal Talks.

Did China wait to see PBBM’s Foreign Policy in Action first before acting on their Loans to the Philippines?

As expected, ‘pinagpiyestahan ng mga Kano at Pilipinong mga Aso nila yung na cancelled na Loans from China’ (The Americans and their Filipino Dogs are having a Field Day on the Loans from China that were cancelled). 

Based on the News Reports, here is my understanding of what actually happened: So China agreed to fund three Projects in the Philippines thru Loans, and so the Philippines sent their formal Applications for them back in 2021. 

Sea Power (2020) Limited Series Review

Every now and then the Streaming Services shows these Documentaries that are just pure Nerdgasm and therefore a Must-Watch for Military Enthusiasts, and this is the latest one which deals with Naval History and Firepower. 

It is composed of four Episodes each around 47 minutes long. The first Episode is about World War One (WW1) and tackles the invention of the Dreadnoughts, Submarines and the Convoy Concept. The Second one moves to World War Two (WW2) which is mainly a short Battleship War in Europe and a longer Aircraft Carrier War in the Pacific.
