Covid-19 Crisis deepens in the US, over 60,000 Infections in just one Day

The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Crisis in the United States (US) is deepening with over 60,000 Infections and 1,000 Deaths recorded recently in just one Day. 

As of this writing, the Total Number of Covid-19 Infections in the US is already more than 4.5 million of which over 152,000 have already died. 

This puts Donald Trump’s re-election Prospects at the end of this year (2020) in danger, with Democrat Nominee Joe Biden leading in the current Surveys.

This is the reason I think why Trump has been acting more belligerent to China recently, it is a desperate effort to put the blame on China and divert his people's attention from the failings of his Administration in tackling the Covid-19 Pandemic. 

Trump’s recent actions against China include: 

- Rejecting all of China’s Territorial Claims in the South China Sea (SCS)

- Closing of China’s Embassy in Houston, Texas

- Threatening to ban the TikTok App which is made by the Chinese Company ByteDance

If Biden beats Trump later this year, I expect the relations between the US and the Duterte Administration to worsen as the Democrats are known to be firm Critics of the Duterte’s supposed Human Rights Abuses.

The US’ position on China could also change to more of just Lip Service than action similar to the time when former Democrat President Barrack Obama was in power.
