So the United States (US) finally gets very tough on China, barring Chinese Officials and Business Executives, including Members of their Immediate Family from travelling to the US.
They also blacklisted 24 Chinese State Owned Companies for their role in constructing Artificial Islands in the South China Sea (SCS). The big question for me now is, “Why only now?”
China started building their Artificial Islands in the SCS in December of 2013, and from that time until recently, a period of around 7 Years, the US did not do any actions such as these as far as I know, at least not because of China’s construction in the SCS.
Furthermore, the US is doing this at a time when the current sitting Administration in the Philippines has been friendly with China and has done Business Deals with them. From 2013 to 2016 when former Philippine President AbNoy was being a very good Dog to them, they did no such actions.
Now Duterte comes along, wants to distance himself from the US, gets friendly and does Commercial deals with China, and suddenly they are sanctioning China for their construction of Artificial Islands in the SCS, 7 years later?
What’s worst is the MANIPULATIVE way they are doing it: They targeted Chinese Companies that were involved in the Construction of the Artificial Islands who also has recently made Contracts with the Duterte Administration for other Projects.
So now it puts a Spotlight on those Projects and is ripe for a Propaganda setup where if Duterte goes ahead with those Projects, he will be called as kowtowing to China.
Part of the Black Propaganda being instituted by the Americans and their Filipino Dogs is to demonize not only China, but also those Friendly or even NEUTRAL to China. Their Mantra is, “If you are not with us, you are against us”.
And they are targeting Public Officials with this Propaganda Strategy, that is why Politicians like the ones in Cavite for example now want to wash their Hands on any Deals with China because if not, they will be labeled as China’s Puppies or (“Tuta ng Tsina”).
As I mentioned early this Month (August 2020), the US has been the worst hit in the entire World by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic in terms of Infections and Deaths, and the Trump Administration badly needs a Distraction and a Scape Goat, so now they have decided it will be China.
The US is “helping” us only now because it suits their interests also, and maybe because they afraid of losing more their influence here in the Philippines under the Duterte Administration who is less welcoming of them and more friendly towards China.
