Great news, the Philippines rose 46 places in the Global Innovation Index (GII) from 100th Place in 2014 to 54th Place in 2019.
The GII is a yearly ranking of Countries co-published by Cornell University, Institut Europeen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
It is based on 80 Indicators which includes Metrics like Political Environment, Infrastructure, Business Sophistication, Quality of Universities, Availability of Microfinance and Venture Capital.
