Just an interesting Article by the Tribune regarding the Philippines’ claim on Sabah, let me highlight some of its most important points:

* There are Fake Heirs of the Sultan of Sulu who are suspected of helping the Malaysians fight off the Philippine’s claim to Sabah.

* There was an Office of North Borneo Affairs before which kept the important, original Documents on the Philippines claim on Sabah, but its Office in Manila was burned down by a mysterious fire in 2004, forcing the Office to close down until it was revived this Year by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

* There are only 9 Heirs to the Sultan of Sulu with proper documentation that the Philippine Government recognizes led by Wazir Amroussi Rasul, the current Prime Minister of the Sultanate of Sulu.
