A closer look at the Sidewinder Missiles on the Philippines’ FA-50 Aircraft

A Sidewinder Missile on an FA-50PH during the recent 5th Fighter Wing Change of Command Ceremony

The 5th Fighter Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) recently released several Photos during the Change of Command Ceremony of the Wing, and in the background we can see the AIM-9L Sidewinder Short Range Air to Air Missile (SRAAM) attached to the Wingtips of their FA-50PH Fighting Eagle Aircraft. 

From what I can see, it seems that these Sidewinders are similar, if not the same as the Replica or Dummy Sidewinder Missiles that were sent to my Inbox a couple of Years ago with their painted Nose Cones. I still can’t show those Pictures to the Public for now, though.

Still, it is nice to see these FA-50PH up close with Missiles, even if these ones are just likely Replicas. Here are more Pictures of them:
