Here are News Reports and some of my thoughts on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War:
* Ukraine abandoned by the West – Ukraine President

* Russia Captures Snake Island
Russia has captured Snake Island or Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea, which is a Strategic Area to control the Port of Odessa in Ukraine. That Port is vital to the economy of Ukraine, so if it is captured or blockaded by Russia, then finish na.

All the Ukrainian Border Guards guarding the Island were reportedly killed, Rest In Peace (RIP).

* China to also attack Taiwan?
Some Observers think that China may attack Taiwan while the West is busy with the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War. I don't think China is ready yet to take Taiwan against the United States (US), though. Nor do I think they need to take Taiwan urgently.

China I think can wait one or two more Decades when they will both Economically and Militarily stronger or at least at par with that of the US, and Taiwan will be much easier pickings for them then. Taiwan is not an urgent need for them, I think they can wait.
* Russian and Ukrainian Claims and Losses
Russia claims that they have destroyed 74 Targets in their first day of operation against Ukraine, and these include:
- 11 Airfields
- 3 Command Posts
- 1 Naval Base
- 18 Radar Stations for the S-300 and Buk-M1 Surface to Air Missile (SAM) Systems
- 4 Bayraktar TB-2 Drones
- 1 Combat Helicopter
Russia claims that they have destroyed 74 Targets in their first day of operation against Ukraine, and these include:
- 11 Airfields
- 3 Command Posts
- 1 Naval Base
- 18 Radar Stations for the S-300 and Buk-M1 Surface to Air Missile (SAM) Systems
- 4 Bayraktar TB-2 Drones
- 1 Combat Helicopter
Russia has admitted the loss of 1 Su-25 Frogfoot Aircraft, but says it is due to Pilot Error.
Ukraine on the other hand claims to having destroyed the following:
- 15 T-72 Tanks
- 7 Combat Aircraft
- 2 Helicopters
- 5 Armored Personnel Carriers
- 50 Soldiers

* War Comedy in Hostomel
A bit of Comedy in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War, CNN Reporter Matthew Chance went to the Hostomel Air Base located just outside the City of Kiev. When he got there, he saw some Soldiers and talked to them, asking where the Russians were, and it turned out that they WERE the Russians, :D

* Russian Forces are now near Kiev
Russian Forces are nearing the Ukranian Capital of Kiev just on the second day of their Invasion of Ukraine. It will be a big Moral boost for Russia if Kiev falls to their hands
