2020 RIMPAC Exercise to fully test the BRP Jose Rizal

The Philippine Navy (PN) says that the 2020 Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise in Hawaii will allow the Crew of the BRP Jose Rizal (FF-150) Frigate to familiarize themselves more with the Ship and is an opportunity to fully test the Ship's Systems while it is still under Warranty.

The Jose Rizal will not be accompanied yet by a AW-159 Wildcat Helicopter for the trip, but will instead be provided with Air Support by a AW-109 Helicopter.

Thailand's DTI and Cho Thavee Public Ltd. Co. to develop a Shipbuilding Monitoring System for the PN's OPV

The Thai Defense Technology Institute (DTI) and the Cho Thavee Public Company Limited signed a Memorandum of Cooperation last month (June 2020) to develop a Shipbuilding Project Management System for the Philippine Navy's (PN) Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV).

Remember that Thailand is offering a modified version of their Krabi class Vessels (which in turn is based on the River class Vessels of the Royal Navy) for the PN's OPV.

Vietnam sentences Man to 8 Years in Jail for Pro-Democracy Posts on Facebook

Vietnam recently sentenced one of its own Citizens to Jail for 8 Years simply for expressing support for Democracy on Facebook.

He was sentenced for broadcasting 110 Hours of Videos and posting 366 Articles that were "defaming the Communist Party and Socialism, humiliating Ho Chi Minh and other Party and State Leaders".

Meanwhile in the Philippines, the Press abuses their Freedom of the Press by being biased and being Propagandists for certain interests day in and day out, and yet Democracy is supposed to be dead already.

Note that despite having an Authoritarian and oppressive Regime, Vietnam has a much lower Poverty Rate than ours, and has a vibrant Economy, getting a lot more Foreign Direct Investments than us.

Funds for the PAF's SpyDer SAM System released

The Defense publication Jane's reported on the release of funds worth Php 2.39 billion (Usd 48.4 million) for the acquisition of the Philippine Air Force's (PAF) Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) system.

In January 2019, the Department of National Defense (DND) confirmed that the Surface to Air Missile (SAM) System will be the SpyDer from Israel.

US Government caught providing Funds to aid the Protesters in Hong Kong

An Organization of the United States (US) Government called the “US Agency for Global Media” was recently caught using Usd 2 million worth of Funds to aid the Protest Movement in Hong Kong.

One of activities the Funds was supposed to be used for was to set up a Cyber Security Incident Response Team that would analyze Chinese Government Surveillance Techniques and share that information quickly thru a secure Communications Applications.

The funds were being channeled thru another Organization called the “Open Technology Fund (OTF)” which also developed a Secure Messaging Application called “Signal” that was being used by Hong Kong Protesters.

This is clearly INTERFERENCE by the US on the affairs of another Country. Remember that Hong Kong is a part of China, it is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China just like Macau.

American Propaganda though have conditioned the Minds of the Dilawans that they are the “Good Guys”, so anything they do is automatically “Good” while China is the “Bad Guy” and anything they do is automatically “Bad”.

So if the Americans interfere with the Internal Affairs of China, it is still “Good”, but if China does the same thing like Fund the protests in the US, or fund an app that will be used by Protesters in the US then that is automatically “Bad”.

The Americans have a History of interfering with other Countries, but their Propaganda makes it seem “Okay” for them to do so, but not if other Countries does the same thing then it is not, it is “Evil”.

And if they interfere clandestinely with issues like Hong Kong and China, you can bet that they also do the same thing here in the Philippines to protect their interests.

Also News Articles like these are not likely to be featured by the Philippine Press because they subscribe to the Propaganda Narrative of US-Good-Guy and China-Bad-Guy.

Notice how if the Article is Anti-China the Press features it almost immediately, but if it is Anti-US then it is just completely ignored.

Desperate Dilawans harassed TishaCM with her Employer

Just to show how DESPERATE the Dilawans are now for the 2022 Elections, one of their Fake Account Trolls named "AltABSCBN" (@AltABSCBN) has resorted to HARASSING the Pro-Duterte account name "TishaCM" (@TishaCM) by calling her out publicly with her Employer, "Easton's Group".

This is clearly harassment, TishaCM is a PRIVATE individual and her employment should have no connections with her Political beliefs. The fact that a Fake Account Dilawan Troll has resorted to such a tactic shows how desperate they really are of losing in the 2022 elections. 

To those who are not familiar with TishaCM, she is one of the most articulate, intelligent and active defenders of President Rodrigo Duterte on Twitter. Now her account has been deactivated, I don't know if she deactivated it or that Twitter shut it down.

But again, due to their desperation, the Dilawans are resorting to hate and Hoodlum tactics so their Candidate can try to win in the 2022 elections.

US quietly dropped planned Magnitzky Act Sanctions against Duterte

In January 2020, the United States' (US) Senate passed Resolution Number 142 seeking Sanctions for Philippine Officials involved in alleged extrajudicial killings and the detention of opposition Senator Leila de Lima.

Under their Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act, US President Donald Trump then had 120 Days or 4 Months after the Resolution was passed to decide who and what Sanctions to imposed on the Duterte Administration.

So the Resolution was passed in January 2020, 4 months later after that is May 2020, but now we are already in July 2020 and no Sanctions related to the Magnitzky Act has been imposed on the Duterte Administration by Trump.

This means that the US has quietly dropped the planned. Note also how the Philippine Press, which made a big deal out of it last January 2020, suddenly has not talked about as to how and why no Sanctions came.

Remember that a Month after the US Senate Resolution was passed, in February 2020 President Rodrigo Duterte moved to officially terminate the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) with the US.

In June 2020 though, a Month after the Trump Administration was supposed to have imposed Sanctions on Duterte but didn’t, Duterte extended the VFA to December 2020 with the possibility of extending it further to June 2021 afterwards.
