Next Pohang Corvette donation tied to Contract for Corvettes to HHI

Philippine Navy (PN) Chief Vice Adm. Giovanni Carlo Bacordo said that the donation of the next Pohang class Corvette is tied to the signing of the Contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) for the two new Corvettes they are acquiring.

This means that until the Contract is signed with HHI for those Corvettes, the next Pohang Corvette won’t be donated. And if no Contract is signed with HHI for those Corvettes, then no Pohang Corvette donation to the Philippines.
