A recent Article by the One News Publication said that the Philippine Air Force (PAF) had already received its “Air Defense Missiles” and its “Air to Air Missiles” for its FA-50PH Fighting Eagle Aircraft.

But it only mentioned it in passing, it didn’t provide a lot of details. The Article in fact only mentioned it in one Paragraph. To directly quote the Article:

Some updates recently on the Helicopter acquisitions of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) from Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana

* The United States (US) had warned the Philippines that the acquisition of 16 Mi-171 Hip Helicopters from Russia will be covered by their Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) Law, which will result in Sanctions by the US against the Philippines

The United States (US) just officially sanctioned Turkey for its acquisition of Russia’s S-400 Triumf Surface to Air Missile (SAM) System, and among the Sanctions it imposed is the banning of US Defense Export Licenses.

Now the T129 ATAK Helicopter made by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) that the Philippines is acquiring currently uses the CTS-800 Engine which was designed and manufactured by the American Company Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company (LHTEC), but license built in Turkey.

Good News, China is donating Usd 60 million (around Php 2.94 billion at the Exchange Rate of Usd 1 = Php 49) for the construction of a River Bridge Project in Davao. The Agreement between China and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was just signed recently.

Again, I ask here, did any of the Philippine Press Report this? Not a single one as per my Google search. A Product of the Dilawan Sections of the Press’ worship of the Americans, who apparently will be offended if they did so.

AFP Modernization Update – Dec. 10, 2020

Some updates about the Modernization of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) from Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana in his Interview with PTV last December 10, 2020, and unfortunately they are not good.

* First off, he said that the Budget for the Modernization of the AFP for 2021 was only Php 31 billion, lower than what was previously reported because of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic. You can watch him say this starting from the 4:24 mark of his Interview

Philippine Companies generated Usd 462 million in potential Sales during China Expo

40 Philippine companies selling Tropical Fruits, Processed Fruits, Vegetables, Healthy Snacks, Seafoods and other Premium Food Selections generated Usd 462 million in Signings and Commitments during the recent 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) in China.

This well exceeded the Philippines’ target of only Usd 160 million by almost 3 times. Let us thank the Manila Times and some other Philippine News Publications for posting this, notice that the Dilawan Sections of the Philippine Press refused to publish this, probably because it will anger the Americans who they worship.
