The Philippine Navy (PN) gave an update about their Modernization Program to the One News/The Philippine Star Publication recently, and below are some of the most important points:
* The PN plans to retire a total of 26 Vessels this Year (2021), which will include the World War 2 Era Malvar class Vessels and the Tomas Batilo class Vessels which were donated by South Korea starting in the 1990s.
“Change Scamming” daw si Digong, sabi ng mga Dilawan. Well this proves that “Change” is NOT “Scamming”, Change is REAL under Duterte. And not only that, Change is in fact, already here.

| Philippine Air Force C-130H Hercules Aircraft in Hawaii |
Here are Pictures from the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) of one of the two secondhand, refurbished C-130H Hercules Transport Aircraft transferred from the United States (US) to the Philippine Air Force (PAF) in Hawaii.
The Pictures were taken upon the arrival of the Aircraft from Mainland US to Hawaii and were dated January 15, 2021, or more than 2 Weeks ago.

So the Cavite Government has finally cancelled the deal with a Chinese Company for the development of the Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) Project.
That deal got a lot of flak for that Project from the Americans and their Filipino Dogs, a LOT of flak. They were pressuring the Cavite Government to cancel it by making bullshi* Intrigues and Rumors like “Creeping Invasion”, blah-blah-blah. I wouldn’t be surprised if that has something to do with the cancellation.

Just to clear things up, contrary to what the Maxdefense American As* Kisser and infamous Thales Fan has been posting about, this Page did not “assume” about the delivery of 44 60 mm Mortars to the Philippine Army (PA).
Clearly it was on the “A Glimpse of the Philippine Army Modernization Projects” Article written on the 1st Quarter 2020 Edition of the Army Compass Publication. To quote that particular Paragraph on that Article:

Apparently there is this group of People who seem to be insisting that I was favoring the K21-105 for the Light Tank Acquisition of the Philippine Army (PA).
Just to be clear, I was not favoring any bets for the PA Light Tank, I have no so called "Horse in the Race".

The Israeli Company Elbit Systems Ltd recently announced that were awarded a Contract worth Usd 172 million to provide Sabrah Light Tanks to the Army of an unnamed Country in the Asia-Pacific.
Even if Elbit did not name the Country, the Department of National Defense (DND) did release a Notice of Award (NOA) to them for Light Tanks in September 2020 with the same Contract Price, so that announcement is for the Philippines, for the Philippine Army (PA).
