In an Article titled, "Featured New Assets - A-29B Super Tucano, Stepping Up" on the “Flight Path Vol. V – New Hope” Publication of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) published recently, an additional 18 A-29 Super Tucano Aircraft are reportedly planned for acquisition until 2024.
The breakdown consists of a dozen or 12 A-29s in 2022 and another 6 more by 2024.

Just some updates on the Modernization of the Philippine Army (PA) from the Philippine Strategic Forum Website:
- All 44 units 12.7 mm cal. Remote Control Weapons Station (RCWS) and 5 units 81 mm cal. Mounted Mortar System (MMS) were delivered in December 2019

I was able to get some Pictures of the BRP Davao Del Sur (LD-602) Landing Dock (LD) of the Philippine Navy (PN) who was there also at the Manila South Harbor during the Arrival Ceremony of the BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) Frigate.
I didn’t take much Pictures since I already took a lot of Pictures of it over the Years. Also the heat from the Sun then was getting quite uncomfortable in the area. Seen from a closer perspective though, the Ship is quite huge and impressive.

I was able to see the brand new BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) Frigate of the Philippine Navy (PN) on the day that it arrived at the Manila South Harbor, and I hope to post more Pictures and Videos about it soon.
One interesting fact I noticed that it already had 2 Mistral Missiles installed on its Simbad-RC Anti-Air Self Defence System. As I noted before in my last Blog, this System can engage up to 2 threats at a time because of the Fire-and-Forget Guidance System of its Mistral Missiles.

First off is the fact that the Freedom of Navigation Operations (FONOPS) conducted by the United States (US) is not only aimed at China, but also other Countries like Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia and (shocked!!) the Philippines.
During a Town Hall Meeting hosted by CNN recently, new United States (US) President Joe Biden says that he understand China’s right to handle its own Internal Affairs.
Biden starts off on the Topic by saying that he understood China’s History wherein they were exploited by Foreigners before when they weren’t united as a Country, so he says he understood Xi Jinping’s need for tight control to unite China.
