November 22, 2022: The BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151), the second of the Jose Rizal class Guided Missile Frigates of the Philippine Navy (PN) recently simulated firing its 76 mm Super Rapid (SR) Gun for a Naval Surface Fire Support (NSFS) and detecting and engaging Air Contacts during the recent Dagat, Laging at Lupa (DAGIT-PA) Joint Military Exercise of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)
November 22, 2022: The 11th Infantry Division (11ID) of the Philippine Army (PA) will be training 400 People in Sulu for a Militia Group called “Bantay Dagat” (Watchers of the Sea) that will be part of a Security Task Force that will help protect the Marine Environment and enforce Coastal Laws in that Area. The Militia will be provided with 95 Motorboats to do their Tasks
November 18, 2022: A fire has burned down one of the Buildings at the Philippine Army (PA) Headquarters (HQ) in Fort Bonifacio in Taguig. The fire reportedly started at the PA Signal Regiment along Lawton Avenue. There has been several of these fires already in the Camps of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in the last Year or so, this is getting to be a big Issue
November 14, 2022: The Philippine Navy (PN) paid tribute to their BN-2 Islander Aircraft which is the oldest Aircraft that is participating in the ongoing Dagat, Langit at Lupa (DAGIT-PA) Joint Military Exercise of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). The Islander can still perform Maritime Patrols and other Security Missions for the PN
November 11, 2022: This Guy, retired Colonel Jose “Pepot” Gonzales is now 91 years old, he used to fly P-51 Mustang and F-86 Sabre Aircraft for the Philippine Air Force (PAF). He visited the Organization recently, I hope they showed him the PAF’s Simulators and new Combat Aircraft like the A29B Super Tucano and FA-50PH Fighting Eagle. But by the way, why is there a large Scale Model of a Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) on one of the PAF’s Offices? Hmm …

November 8, 2022: Here is a Photo of the brand new C295 Transport Aircraft of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) that was blessed and formally accepted recently. The Photo was taken last October 26, 2022 when the Aircraft was in Malta on its way to the Philippines
November 7, 2022: The Philippine Air Force (PAF) will broadcast live on their official Facebook Page the Acceptance, Turnover and Blessing Ceremony of a C-295 Transport Aircraft and the SpyDer Surface to Air Missile (SAM) System tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8, 2022. The SpyDer I think will be the first Vehicle-based SAM System that will be in service with the entire Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)

November 1, 2022: The Plan to turn the former BRP Rajah Humabon (PS-11) into a Museum will no longer push thru. The Ship was a Flagship of the Philippine Navy (PN) for quite a long time, around three Decades and seems to be the longest serving Flagship of the Navy until the arrival of newer, more modern Vessels
October 25, 2022: The Commission On Audit (COA) has dismissed the Complaint to them filed by a Private Citizen against the Philippine Navy (PN). The Complainant is asking compensation from the PN for occupying his 4,000 m^2 Property in Eastern Visayas since 1981 but has not been compensating him since. COA said that they do not have Jurisdiction over the Case and recommended to the Complainant that he file a Case in a Philippine Court instead
August 22, 2022: The BRP Davao Del Sur (LD-602) Landing Dock (LD) of the Philippine Navy (PN) has been reassigned to a new Area of Operation under the Western Command (WESCOM) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) which covers Palawan and Kalayaan Island
August 6, 2022: The 2nd Mechanized Infantry “Magbalantay” Brigade of the Philippine Army (PA) inaugurated a brand new, modern two-story Administration Building in Iligan City recently. The Building will be called “Saber Hall”, named after Rajah Palawan, the first Mindanao Hero who died as a Martyr against the Spaniards in 1759
July 24, 2022: Private Amaleth Joyce Caoyong recently became the first Female Soldier to earn the Physical Trainer Badge in the history of the First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR) of the Philippine Army (PA)
July 15, 2022: Two former Members of the New People’s Army (NPA) in Negros Occidental are now officially Soldiers of the Philippine Army (PA) with the Rank of Private after Graduating from Basic Military Training recently
June 23, 2022: The BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) Frigate of the Philippine Navy (PN) just crossed the International Date Line (IDL) on its way to Hawaii. Not many Ships and Crew have the opportunity to do this, and it is also a Tradition that a “Ceremony” is made to mark its Event
June 18, 2022: Ben Quirino, alias Ben Tattoo or Ben M-14 is reportedly one of the Best and Strongest Frontline Fighters of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) according to one of the Foreigners he kidnapped before, and he recently surrendered to the Philippine Military in Jolo recently. I am just sorry that he didn’t get exterminated in Combat, possibly giving him the opportunity to rejoin the armed Rebel Groups again in the future
