Bill boosting the Phl Arms Industry passed in Congress

The House Bill Number 8212 or the “Special Defense Economic Zone (SpeDEZ) Act” was passed by Congress on its third and final reading recently. The Bill seeks to establish a SpeDEZ Authority inside the Government Arsenal’s (GA) Defense Industrial Estate in Bataan

The SpeDEZ will provide a number of incentives to local Arms Manufacturers who will relocate there, among which are:
- All Activities inside the Zone will be Tax-free
- All Raw Materials, Capital and Equipment inside the Zone will be exempt from Tax and Customs Duties
- All sale of Goods from the Zone to the Philippine Military and Police will also exempt from Taxes and Customs Duties
- A certain Percentage of Raw Materials used by the Companies inside the Zone should be sourced from local Companies (Percentage to be determined by the SpeDEZ Authority)
- A One-Stop Shop for Clearances, Permits, etc. should be established in the Zone for faster and easier processing

M/V Zhonhai 68 Ship not registered in China but in Sierra Leone

China recently announced that the M/V Zhonhai 68 Dredging Ship that the American As* Kissing Dilawans have been making such a big fuss about recently is in fact not registered in China but in the Country of Sierra Leone

Also no Chinese National onboard the Ship when it was found. Seriously, has nobody noticed up to now how the Americans and their Filipino Dogs have been trying to spread INTRIGUE and MALICE out of every move by China?

Australia to sign Framework Agreement for the Production of the Phl Navy’s OPV

The Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Steven Robinson AO in an Interview with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) said that the Australian Government will sign a Framework Agreement with Austal Philippines Pty Ltd and the Department of National Defense (DND) later this Month (February 2021) for the Production of Patrol Vessels. 

This will be for the 6 Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) of the Philippine Navy (PN) which will be produced in Austal’s Shipbuilding Facility in Cebu for the next 5 Years.

The Department of National Defense (DND) recently posted on their Website the Notice to Proceed (NTP) for the Tank Gunnery Simulator Project of the Philippine Army (PA) back in April 2020. 

The NTP was issued to the Singaporean company Wolfberry Asia Pte Ltd and the Indonesian company PT Indocertes. The Contract Price is worth Php 36.1 million or Usd 752k at the Exchange Rate of Usd 1 = Php 48.

United States (US) Senator Dick Durbin, one of President Rodrigo Duterte’s most vocal Critics in the US who is currently banned in the Philippines and is now the Majority Whip in the US Senate, recently retweeted Senator Leila De Lima’s Tweet congratulating him and said that he continues to support her fight for “Human Rights” in the Philippines

Phl Marines also interested in the BrahMos Missile

Aside from visiting the Philippine Army (PA) a couple of Days ago, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of BrahMos Aerospace also recently visited the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) who also expressed interest in the PJ-10 BrahMos Missile for their Shore Based Anti-Ship Missile System (SBASMS)

Interesting that the PA and PMC is interested in the same Missile System, both Services could end up with the same Systems for their Land-based Missile Systems.

The Notice of Award (NOA) for the Fast Attack Interdiction Craft-Missile (FAIC-M) Vessels and Weapons of the Philippine Navy (PN) has just been released to the Public by the Department of National Defense (DND), they were dated earlier this Month (January 2021). 

The NOAs were released thru the Israel Ministry of Defense since the transaction went thru a Negotiated Procurement, the NOA for the Vessels was released to Israel Shipyards Ltd while the NOA for the Weapons was released to Rafael Advanced Systems Ltd
