Philippine Pilots and Crew now in Turkey to start training for the T129 Helicopter

The Pilots and Crew from the 15th Strike Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) assigned to the T129 ATAK Helicopters have reportedly already arrived in Ankara, Turkey to start their Training. 

The Article from the Arabian Aerospace Website reports though that the first 2 T129 Helicopters will be delivered in the 4th Quarter (October to December) of 2021 instead of the September 2021 delivery stated by Philippine Sources.

DSME offering their 1400PN Submarine to the Philippines

Just a little bit more details of the Submarine that the South Korean Company Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) is offering to the Philippine Navy (PN) by the Defense Publication Janes, it is the 1400PN

The 1400PN is reportedly is an upgraded and modified version of the Nagapasa class Submarines that DSME built for the Indonesian Navy. A Soft Loan could also be provided by Philippines for the purchase of the Subs thru the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM).

The plan of the Philippines to repair and upgrade the Logistics Infrastructures at Pag-Asa Island (which they call as Dao Thi Tu) is ILLEGAL AND VOID, according to the Spokesperson of the Vietnam Foreign Ministry named Le Thi Thu Hang

Hang said, “Vietnam has historical evidence and legal basis to claim its sovereignty on the Spratly Islands that are in line with international law.

TAI just waiting for Written Approval from the US on the export of T129 Engines to the Philippines

Defense Sources in Turkey who refused to be named in Public told the Defense Publication Janes that the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) are just waiting for the official, written approval from the United States (US) for allowing the export of CTS800 Engines for the T129 ATAK Helicopter to the Philippines. 

Serdar Temir, the Director of Marketing and Communications of TAI reportedly “ensured the Export Approval of the Engines” after making several visits to the US, and the same anonymous Sources saying that the deal is a “done deal”.

Delay in delivery of next S-70i Helicopter Batches

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana recently told The Philippine Star that more S-70i Black Hawk Combat Transport Helicopters of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) will be delivered in the next couple of Months. 

Quoting Lorenzana in the Article, "Five helicopters will be delivered in July and five more in September"

On the Pinoy Aviators Page’s confirmation of the US approval for the T129 Helicopter Engines to the Philippines

The Pinoy Aviators (PA) Page recently also confirmed the United States (US) approval for the export of the CTS800 Engines of the T129 ATAK Helicopter after News Reports about it were made in the Foreign Press.  

The Post was made by one of their anonymous Administrators named “Admin Trojan”, but at the same time it also dissed a “civilian owned Facebook Defense Page” for reporting that it was cancelled.

More TAI Officials confirm US Approval of export of T129 Engines to the Philippines

More Officials of the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) recently confirmed to the Press that the United States (US) has approved the export of the CTS800 Engines on the T129 ATAK Helicopters to the Philippines. 

Serdar Demir, the Marketing and Communications Director of TAI said that the US has issued the required documentations for the export of the Engines of six (6) T129 Helicopters for the Philippines.
