A closer look at the Sidewinder Missiles on the Philippines’ FA-50 Aircraft

The 5th Fighter Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) recently released several Photos during the Change of Command Ceremony of the Wing, and in the background we can see the AIM-9L Sidewinder Short Range Air to Air Missile (SRAAM) attached to the Wingtips of their FA-50PH Fighting Eagle Aircraft. 

From what I can see, it seems that these Sidewinders are similar, if not the same as the Replica or Dummy Sidewinder Missiles that were sent to my Inbox a couple of Years ago with their painted Nose Cones. I still can’t show those Pictures to the Public for now, though. 

Anti-China, Pro-US Troll Farm attack on this Page – July 2021

Anti-China, Pro-United States (US) Troll Farm (or Farms) have been attacking this particular Facebook Post of mine for the past couple of Days by sharing it and then spamming it with Comments. Their aim is to rouse Filipinos with real Facebook Accounts to do the same thing that they are doing.

From the Screenshot, we can see that the Post has so far generated 542 Shares, and if you look at the Sharers of that Post, most of them have been made to various Public Groups, especially to those which are Anti-China and Pro-US.

Simularity, Inc.’s ties to the Philippine Opposition revealed

Rigoberto Tiglao in his recent Article at the Manila Times detailed the ties of the American Firm Simularity, Inc. to the Philippine Opposition. Let me note down some of the important Points: 

* The Company reportedly had been contracted by the United States (US) Government to set up a "South China Sea Rapid Alert Forum" which is uses its interpretation of Satellite Images for Anti-China Propaganda.

Here is a look at the A-29 Super Tucano Flight Training Device (FTD) of the 15th Strike Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF). 

An FTD is a device with a functioning replica of a Cockpit and high Quality Visual Systems, but unlike a Full Flight Simulator (FFS), it is non-moving or on a Fixed Base. 

Aside from the PCG, Masinloc Mayor also denies that Phl Fishermen are being blocked in Scarborough Shoal

The Mayor of Masinloc, Zambales denied that Chinese Vessels are blocking Philippine Fishermen from going to Scarborough Shoal (also known as Bajo de Masinloc and Panatag Shoal), contrary to what a Group of Fishermen called “Bigkis ng Mangingisda (Bundle of Fishermen)” was saying.

She said that Fishermen from her Town continue to fish in the area. She also said, “Yan po ay walang katotohanan, sila po ay lumalampas pa doon sa Scarborough at pagpapatunay na marami pong isda ngayon, kung gusto niyo po, bisitahin niyo po ang Bajo de Masinloc (That is not true, our Fishermen even goes past Scarborough and they catch a lot of Fish. If you want, you can visit Bajo de Masinloc yourself). 

Cheap but effective UHMWPE Armor could make 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm Rounds less effective

I have been doing some research on Body Armor, and it seems that we have reached that level of Body Armor Technology where existing 5.56 x 45 mm and 7.62 x 51 mm caliber Rifle Ammunition may not necessarily become obsolete, but will be less effective. 

This is because of the advent of cheap but effective Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) Armor. This type of Armor is very light and will defeat not just one but multiple hits from 5.56 mm or 7.62 mm rounds.

This would’ve been so funny if it weren’t so irritating. So now that the President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte is having friendly relations with China, the United States (US) goes out and declare they are willing to fight with us in the South China Sea (SCS). 

Where were they when former President Benigno Aquino III (also known as PNoy or AbNoy Panot) was busy being a good, obedient DOG to them (arf, arf!!)? AbNoy Panot asked for their help against China in Panatag Shoal in 2012, and yet they ABANDONED him.
